After earning my teaching diploma from the Alliance Française de Paris, I taught for several years at the Alliance Française in Tanzania and South Africa, as well as in France. I have been a FLE teacher for 12 years, working with learners of all levels and ages. I also deceloped DELF exam preparation courses as an exam coordinator.
Today, I offer private lessons near my village in France, and online. I also give group classes close to Cordes-sur-Ciel in the Tarn department.

NEEDS AND KNOWLEDGE
First meeting
We'll arrange a 30-minute first meeting to get to know each other a bit and discuss your needs. If you are not a complete beginner I will evaluate your current level of French with a short test. This step is essential for me to understand what you already know and what you would like to learn. This is your class, I am just here to help you achieve your goals.
MY WAY OF TEACHING
Using what you already know
If you are learning French, you already know one or several other languages. I like to use what you already know in order for you to become more independent with the French language. I am not a big fan of the "French"only" method. For me, it is necessary to understand the structure of the language to gain autonomy. This is why I use our common language (English)* to explain grammar and syntax. For vocabulary, however, I avoid translating as far as possible, instead using examples, mimes, sounds or images to make the meaning clear.

TRUST AND RESPONSIBILITY
Be involved in your learning process
I won't blame you if you don't do your exercises; we are not at school anymore and we all lead busy lives. I will give you all the tools you need to improve but you also need you to put in the effort from your side. You need to make time for French, be on time for our lessons, be happy to learn, practice outside of class... Learning a language won't work if you are not active in your learning. So, trust me and I'll trust you.
TRAINING FOR COMPANIES
12 hours package
I offer a 12-hour (2-day) training course to help your employees improve their spelling and grammar. The objectives of this training course are:
- to apply simple agreement rules;
- to avoid common spelling mistakes;
- to identify the general rules for past participle agreement;
- to avoid the pitfalls of plurals;
- to improve writing skills.
The training course includes a slideshow, games, exercises, and discussions between participants.
This training course has already been adopted by the CNFPT in Albi and Castres, as well as the CNFPT in Montauban.
